• We do not bill insurance companies directly. However, we are happy to provide a superbill.

  • A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes all the information your insurance company needs to consider reimbursing you for therapy sessions. It shows what services you received, when, and how much you paid.

Out-of-network services mean that your therapist is not directly contracted with your insurance company. You pay for the sessions yourself, and then you can submit the superbill to your insurance to see if they will reimburse you based on your out-of-network benefits.

  • Benefits of Paying Privately for Therapy

    1. Greater Privacy
Private pay keeps your mental health records between you and your therapist. Insurance requires a diagnosis and may access your records, which can affect future coverage.

    2. No Diagnosis Required
Insurance needs a mental health diagnosis to cover services. Private pay allows you to receive support without needing a clinical label.

    3. More Flexibility
You choose the type, length, and frequency of sessions without insurance restrictions or approvals, making therapy more personalized.

    4. Specialized Care
Therapists outside of insurance can focus on quality, offering services like trauma work, equine therapy, or holistic approaches.

    5. Faster Access
Start therapy without delays from insurance paperwork, authorizations, or network limitations.

    6. Wellness-Focused
Private pay supports long-term healing and personal growth not just symptom management.

  • Equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) is a therapeutic approach that involves interactions with horses to promote emotional growth and healing. It’s guided by a licensed mental health professional and often takes place in a calm, outdoor setting.

  • No prior experience with horses is needed. All activities are done safely on the ground no riding is required. The focus is on connection, not performance

  • Horses are incredibly intuitive animals. They respond to our emotions and nonverbal cues, providing honest, nonjudgmental feedback. This helps clients become more aware of their feelings, boundaries, and behavior patterns.

  • EAP is effective for addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship struggles, grief, identity issues, and more. It’s also helpful for teens, veterans, and individuals who feel “stuck” in traditional therapy.
